Expertise
Michael conducts data management, statistical analysis, and statistical programming in support of clinical trials and research design. He:
- Analyzes and evaluates data from federal government and consumer surveys
- Provides statistical support for abuse potential assessment, postmarketing surveillance, and Rx-to-OTC switch
- Analyzes data using SAS, Stata and IBM SPSS
Experience
Michael has more than 20 years of experience in statistical analysis, clinical trials, data management, and research design. Before joining Pinney Associates, he was a senior data analyst for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has analyzed large-scale public surveys that include nationally representative quantitative datasets, as well as data from multi-center studies. He has co-authored upwards of 40 peer-reviewed papers in addition to numerous posters and presentations on such topics as patients’ preferences and impact of patients’ perceptions on health care.
